The Glenturret 7 Year Old Peat Smoked is a Highland single malt in a 750ml bottle, and the 2023 release. It is the first of the distillery's core peat smoked whiskies.
American oak leads the character, with sweeter fruit notes from European oak. Refill casks bring out the peated new make spirit, and the whisky has a pronounced smoky character.
The nose is citrus-forward, and the palate develops into sweet, fruity notes.
