This is a 7 year old peat-smoked single malt from The Glenturret, the 2024 release, in a 70cl bottle. It is the entry point to the distillery's core range of peat-smoked whiskies and takes its inspiration from the rugged, scenic surroundings of the distillery.
American oak gives a distinct smoky profile, while European oak adds sweet, fruity undertones. Refill casks let the peated new make spirit come through, giving a citrus-led aroma that moves into sweet, fruity flavours on the palate.
