The Glover is a 14 year old blended malt that brings together Scotch malt whisky and Japanese whisky. Adelphi bottled this edition in 2015 at 44.3% ABV, and it includes whisky from the Hanyu distillery. The outturn was 1,500 bottles. The series takes its name from Thomas Blake Glover and refers to the historical links between Scotland and Japan. It is typically described as malty, with light fruit, subtle sherry notes and oak spice.
