The Glover Fusion 4 Year Old Batch 5 (54.7%)

This is the fifth batch of The Glover, a collaboration between Adelphi and Whisky Fusion released in 2020. It blends Scotch from Ardnamurchan, a distillery owned by Adelphi, with single malt from Chichibu in Japan. Both parts were matured for four years in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks, and the whisky was bottled at 54.7%. Only 1,008 bottles were released. The name honours Thomas Blake Glover, the Scottish merchant who started trade between Japan and Britain in the 19th century. It is described as balanced, with pineapple, mandarin juice, barley and lemon sweets.
