The Hakushu 18 Years Peated Malt is a smoky Japanese single malt, matured for 18 years in mizunara oak casks. This bottle is the 100th Anniversary edition.
The nose shows pear, mint and a light smokiness. The palate is firm yet delicate, with quince, mango, jasmine, dark chocolate and caramel. The finish is long and spicy, with a faint smoky background.
