The Hakushu 18 Years Peated Malt is a Japanese single malt released to mark the 100th anniversary of the Suntory group. It was matured for 18 years in mizunara oak casks, and only 2000 bottles were made.
On the nose it shows pear, mint and a light smokiness. The palate is firm yet delicate, with quince, mango, jasmine, dark chocolate and caramel. The finish is long and spiced, with a gentle smoky undertone.
