The Hearach is a single malt from Harris Distillery, described as the first legally produced single malt whisky from the Isle of Harris.
It is made with first-fill ex-bourbon casks alongside first-fill Oloroso and Fino sherry butts. The whiskies are married in batches for a minimum of 12 weeks.
The character is said to reflect the island: delicate peaty smoke with malty barley, warming ginger spice and elegant floral notes.
