The Highland Connection Blended Malt 6 Year Old North Star Spirits (70cl, 50.6%)

This is a blended malt from North Star Spirits, bottled at 50.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle as part of the Highland Connection series. It is made from selected Highland single malts, with Ardnamurchan and Highland Park named as the distilleries. The age statement is 6 years, with older whisky in the mix: the malts were distilled in 2019 and 2004, and the blend was bottled in 2025. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. Malt, vanilla, ripe fruit and gentle spice show on the nose. The palate is full and lively, with caramel, citrus, cereal and light oak, and the finish is warm and pleasantly spicy.
