The Irishman 12 Year Old is a single malt Irish whiskey, bottled in an outturn of 6,000 bottles.
The nose is highly aromatic, with allspice, ground cinnamon and hints of clove, and behind the spice sit soft vanilla toffee, creamed coconut and grapefruit peel. The palate opens with citrus, peel oils, toffee, red berries, sweet barley, cinnamon, pepper and star anise, then moves towards toffee, a hint of chocolate, more malt and a little oak. The spices come through on the finish.
