A blended whisky from The Lakes Distillery, part of The One Collection. It has been matured for a further 12 to 18 months in first-fill Manzanilla sherry casks, a style of sherry made in the Andalusian town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda. It is a limited edition, bottled at 46.6% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose has plum jam, boiled sweets, aromatic woodsmoke and a touch of salinity. On the palate there are lightly stewed apples, candied ginger and a hint of lemon zest, leading to a fresh, balanced finish.
