Galaxia is a single malt from The Lakes Distillery, an English whisky matured in sherry casks. It is the final release in the Whiskymaker's Editions series, which reflects the work of whiskymaker Dhavall Gandhi.
It is bottled at 54% in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and without chill filtration.
The nose is rich and perfumed, with dark fruit cake and ginger, walnuts, cocoa nibs and apple crumble. The palate is creamy, with wood spice, Manuka honey, candied pecans and Christmas cake, and the finish is bold and long, with dark fruits and chocolate.
