The Lakes Resfeber is a limited-edition single malt from The Lakes Distillery in Cumbria, north-west England, and part of the Whiskymaker's Edition series. The name is Swedish for travel fever.
It was matured in cream sherry casks together with tart red wine casks, and bottled at 46.6% without chill-filtering or added colouring.
The nose offers apples dipped in toffee syrup, gentle baking spice and dried apricots. The palate brings maraschino cherries, toffee, rose petal jam and a hint of summer pudding, followed by a lively, creamy finish with a warming close.
