The Lakes Signature

The Lakes Signature is a single malt from The Lakes Distillery, which has been making whisky since 2011. It was matured in sherry-seasoned oak casks. The cask influence shows in dark chocolate, dried fruits and warming spices. The nose is typically described as polished oak and leather with dried fruits, pecans, dark chocolate and a touch of orange zest. On the palate, baking spices, sultanas, raisins and figs give way to stewed orchard fruits, a burst of citrus and treacle alongside warm oak. The finish carries the lingering dried fruits.
