The Lakes – Whiskymaker's Editions Infinity (70cl, 52%)

This is a single malt from The Lakes, part of the Whiskymaker's Editions and named Infinity. It is bottled at 52% in a 70cl bottle and was inspired by the link between fragrance and flavour. It was matured in a range of sherry butts, including Palo Cortado seasoned American oak casks. The blend is built by layering complementary and contrasting flavours and balancing aromas. The nose offers incense sticks, musk, forest and toasted rye bread. The palate brings spices and dates, treacle, cocoa nibs and oak, followed by a long and intriguing finish.
