The Last Drop Signature Blend No. 28 is a blend of Kentucky straight whiskeys, including bourbons and straight ryes, made by Master Blender Drew Mayville from Buffalo Trace Distillery stocks. It was put together with the aim of being greater than the sum of its parts.
It is bottled at 60.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with 1,458 bottles released.
The nose brings dark fruit, fig, aromatic spice and zesty citrus. On the palate, dark fruits and orange peel give way to worn leather, creamy chocolate, vanilla and oak spice. The finish is long and warming, led by oak with citrus peel, spice and dark fruit.
