The Legendary Dark Silkie Irish Whiskey (75cl, 46%)

The Legendary Dark Silkie is an Irish whiskey bottled at 46% in a 750ml bottle. It is the first addition to The Legendary Silkie Irish Whiskey Collection. It was made as an attempt to recreate the taste of Donegal whiskey in the 19th century, with the aim of reintroducing drinkers to a rich, smoky style of Irish whiskey. The nose offers fresh apple, pipe tobacco and the dry smoke of a peat fire. On the palate it is very soft, with salted caramel, dark chocolate, liquorice, oak, leather and dry, spicy smoke. The finish is warming, with smoky malt and peanut butter.
