Auchnagie Classic Selection is a blended malt Scotch whisky from The Lost Distillery Company, bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle with no age statement. It recreates the whisky of Auchnagie, a remote farmhouse distillery near Tulliemet in Perthshire that ran from 1812 until 1911 and was dismantled the following year. The company researched the distillery's era, water, barley, yeast, peat, stills and wood, and blenders then married single malts to match what was found. Auchnagie was the first release in the series. The nose is digestive biscuit, banana and honey. The palate brings sponge cake, honey, rice pudding and dried apricot, and the finish carries light baking spice.
