The Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Oak is a Speyside single malt matured mainly in European oak casks seasoned with sherry in Jerez. It is an official distillery bottling at 40%, in natural colour, in a 70cl bottle.
Dried fruit, ginger, orange, cinnamon and oak spice make up its character.
The nose brings dried fruit and orange peel with ginger and polished oak. The palate is rich and rounded, with raisin, sweet spice and citrus. The finish is warming and lingering, with dried fruit, spice and a slightly drying oak note.
