The Macallan 12 Years Double Cask is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, matured for 12 years in American and European oak casks, both previously used for sherry.
The nose offers caramel, toffee apple, candied orange and vanilla. The palate is honeyed and lightly spiced, with woody, citrus and caramel notes. The finish is long and lingering, with a dash of black pepper.
