The Macallan 12 Years Sherry Oak Cask is a single malt from the Macallan distillery at Craigellachie, near Easter Elchies House in Speyside. It is a 12 year old whisky in a 70cl bottle, matured in ex-sherry oak casks.
The nose combines vanilla, ginger, dried fruit, sherry and smoke. The palate is soft, rich and layered, with red berries, smoke and cinnamon. The finish is of good length, with light notes of oak.
