The Macallan 15 Years Old Double Cask is a Highland single malt matured in European and American oak casks that previously held Oloroso sherry. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
On the nose it is usually described as dried fruit, toffee, vanilla, oak, baked apple pie, honey and chocolate. The palate brings citrus, raisins, vanilla and oak spice, followed by a finish of ginger and caramel.
