This is an 18 year old Highland single malt from The Macallan, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle as part of the 2025 release.
It was matured in a pairing of European and American oak casks that previously held Oloroso sherry, a combination described as a perfect partnership between the two.
The nose brings dried fruit, toffee, ginger, orange, clove and nutmeg. On the palate there are citrus, raisins, vanilla, caramel, ginger and oak spice, and the finish adds the sweetness of oranges.
