This is the 2026 release of The Macallan 18 Year Old Sherry Oak, a single malt from the Sherry Oak Collection. It is matured for a minimum of 18 years at The Macallan Estate in Speyside, mainly in sherry-seasoned European oak casks from Jerez in Spain. Its colour is entirely natural.
The nose brings treacle tart, candied ginger, soaked raisins and sultanas, with orange and ground cinnamon. On the palate there is ginger coated in dark chocolate, with dates and dried apricots, balanced by a little oak and vanilla sweetness. The finish is long, with dried fruit, ginger and oak.
