This is a 20 year old single malt from The Macallan's Estate Single Cask Collection, Cask 01 of the 2025 releases. It comes in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 57.1% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration.
The whisky was distilled on 15th August 2005 and bottled on 23rd September 2025 from a single European oak sherry hogshead, giving 267 individually numbered bottles. The collection is made from barley grown on The Macallan's own estate.
The nose brings raisins, sultanas, treacle ginger, cherry compote, dark chocolate and spice. The palate shows ginger loaf cake, rich dried fruits, mixed nuts, dark chocolate, citrus peel and baking spice. The finish is very long, rich and sweet.
