This is a 25 year old single malt from The Macallan, part of the Anniversary Malt series of bottlings. It was bottled in the mid-1990s and finished in sherry casks.
The Anniversary Malt is described as an old-school, well-aged and sherried Macallan. On the nose it is heavy with sweet fruit and toasted spice, with sherry running through. The palate brings wild honey, caramel, preserved fruit jam and wild forest berries, with touches of citrus and milky coffee cream.
