The Macallan 25 Year Old is a Speyside single malt aged for 25 years.
The nose is fruity, with orange and pear, sweet spices that turn almost smoky, and a refined sherry note with honey and caramel. On the palate come dried apricots, prunes and figs, with nutmeg and cinnamon running through a rich honey sweetness. The finish is long and full, carrying fig, spices, chewy oak and a touch of light smoke.
