The Macallan 30 Year Old Fine Oak is a Speyside single malt from before 2008, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry oak casks.
The nose offers ginger, orange peel and honey, with a hint of lavender cream. The palate starts woody, then settles and grows richer, with clove, nutmeg, cinnamon and white pepper.
