This is The Macallan 30 Year Old, a Highland single malt matured in sherry oak, in a 70cl bottle at 43%. It is an older bottling from before 2018.
Thirty years of ageing has given a marked Oloroso sherry character. The nose is rich with sherry, orange, clove, nutmeg and wood smoke. On the palate it is smooth, with dried fruits, sherry, orange and wood smoke, and the finish is long and rich, with lingering spice and orange.
