The Macallan 50 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled in 2020 as part of The Red Collection. The collection spans whiskies from 40 to 78 years old and celebrates the natural range of red hues seen throughout The Macallan's whisky-making process.
The whisky matured in exclusively hand-selected oak casks, and its colour is described as Vintage Oak. Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell presents the release.
It comes in a hand-crafted oak presentation box made in the UK from sustainable European oak and upholstered in Scottish leather from Bridge of Weir.
