The Macallan 60 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky released in 2024 as part of The Red Collection, at 40.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It spent six decades maturing in a combination of sherry-seasoned and refill casks.
It comes in its original wooden presentation case, with the original outer packaging.
In the tasting notes, the nose combines baked peach and pineapple with figs and dates, followed by leather and a resinous depth. The palate brings antique oak and ginger, opening into tropical papaya and mango. The finish is multi-layered, with lime, liquorice and dark chocolate alongside long, polished oak.
