The Macallan A Night on Earth First Light is the 2025 edition of an annual Speyside series, a limited-edition single malt bottled at 43% ABV with no added colouring.
It is a non-age-statement whisky matured in a blend of ex-bourbon American oak and sherry-seasoned European oak casks.
The nose opens with creamy vanilla, honeyed cereal and orchard fruit such as pear or peach, with toasted oak and a hint of baking spice. The palate is smooth and medium-bodied, led by caramelised sugar and vanilla fudge, with dried fig or raisin and a light citrus lift. The finish is soft and warming, with light toffee and gentle oak.
