The Macallan A Night On Earth In Scotland 2022 is a limited-edition Speyside single malt, released in 2022 in the annual series inspired by Scotland's Hogmanay traditions. It carries no age statement and is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is a marriage of sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks with American ex-bourbon barrels. The packaging features artwork by illustrator Erica Dorn.
It opens with creamy vanilla and buttery baked apple, then moves to a soft, velvety palate of freshly baked biscuits, fig, dried orange and gentle spice. The finish is medium, with sweet butterscotch.
