The Macallan A Night On Earth Jerez is the third release in the A Night on Earth series, a single malt Scotch whisky inspired by New Year's Eve, or Nochevieja, in Jerez de la Frontera and released for the distillery's 200th anniversary.
It was created by The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team from a balanced combination of European and American oak casks seasoned with sherry. Its colour is naranja quemado.
The nose offers honey-coated pestiños, sweet raisins, cinnamon, anise, rich oak and bright citrus. On the palate come sweet pastry, white grapes, honey-glazed almonds, vanilla, balanced spices and a hint of fresh rosemary. The finish is sweet, vibrant and warming.
