The Macallan Classic Cut 2017 is a limited-edition single malt from Macallan, a Speyside distillery, released in 2017 and sold in a 70cl bottle.
Classic Cut is described as a bolder, richer and more intense expression, made to show the Macallan style with extra weight.
On the nose it offers dried fruit such as raisins and sultanas, with orange peel and a little ginger. The palate is full-bodied, with sherry sweetness and warming cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is long and smooth.
