The Macallan Classic Cut 2017 is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 52.9% ABV. It is the 2017 release in the Classic Cut series, which explores a different side of the distillery's character each year.
The nose has dried fruit, notably sultanas and figs, with ginger, orange zest and oak spice. The palate is full-bodied, with sweet vanilla, dark chocolate and toasted almonds, lifted by citrus and warming cinnamon. The finish is long, with sweet oak, a touch of smoke and lingering fruit.
