The Macallan Classic Cut 2018 Edition is a cask strength single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. It is the second release in a limited annual series.
Whisky Maker Ian Morrison chose the 51.2% strength as the one that best shows a dominant sweetness and the balanced flavours of the sherry oak casks.
Left to open up for 10 to 15 minutes, it shows citrus, sweet vanilla and spice, with a long, dry oak finish.
