The Macallan – Classic Cut 2020 Edition (70cl, 52.5%)

The Macallan Classic Cut 2020 Edition is a single malt bottled at a higher strength of 52.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is the fourth release in the Classic Cut annual series and was created to give a full, heightened flavour. In the glass it is a sunlit straw colour. The nose offers vanilla with candied orange peel and honey, alongside sultana and raisin. The palate is fresh and oaky, with honey, stewed peaches, caramel cookies and white pepper. The finish is long, with warming oak and a sweet, mouth-coating feel.
