The Macallan Classic Cut 2022 is a limited edition single malt from the Macallan distillery in Speyside, in a 70cl bottle. The Classic Cut series is meant to show a different side of the distillery's character each year, starting from the classic cut used to make its base whiskies.
The 2022 edition was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.
On the nose it offers oak, grapefruit, ginger and cinnamon. The palate is fruity and lightly spiced, with caramel, chocolate and walnut.
