The Macallan Classic Cut 2024 is the eighth release in the distillery's limited annual Classic Cut series. It is bottled at 52.4% ABV.
The whisky comes from a union of ex-bourbon American oak casks and sherry-seasoned European oak casks. Whisky Maker Steven Bremner selected two strengths for it: the full 52.4% and a version cut with water to 40% ABV.
The 2024 campaign focuses on the different flavours revealed at each strength.
