The Macallan Classic Cut 2025 Edition is a single malt bottled at 50.6%, the strength the whisky maker prefers, in a 75cl bottle. It was matured in sherry-seasoned European and American oak and in ex-Bourbon casks.
It is meant to be tasted with water. At full strength it shows velvety milk chocolate and orange zest. Reduced to 40%, grapefruit and creamy vanilla panna cotta come forward. At 20%, the finish turns fresh and warming, with apple and lemon zest.
