The Macallan Classic Cut 2025 Edition is a Speyside single malt matured in sherry-seasoned European and American oak, together with ex-Bourbon casks. It is bottled at 50.6%, the whisky maker's preferred strength.
At full strength it shows velvety milk chocolate and orange zest. Reduced to 40% with water, grapefruit and creamy vanilla panna cotta come through, and at 20% the finish turns to fresh, warming apple and lemon zest.
