The Macallan Concept No. 2 is the second edition in the Concept Series, a 2019 limited edition single malt bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle and made for global travel retail. It takes its inspiration from whisky maker Steven Bremner, who also works as a DJ, and the packaging includes vinyl record elements.
Bremner combined whiskies from American bourbon casks and Spanish sherry casks. The whisky has a natural golden colour.
The nose offers sweet caramel and vanilla with citrus, pear and ginger over a little oak. On the palate come caramel, vanilla and caramelised apple, with citrus, ginger, oak and dried fruit. The finish is medium in length.
