The Macallan – Concept No. 3 Travel Retail Edition (70cl, 40.8%)

The Macallan Concept No. 3 is the third and final edition of the Concept Series, a limited single malt bottled at 40.8% in a 70cl bottle and made for global travel retail. It is a collaboration with the American graphic designer and art director David Carson, whose design is carried through the packaging. The whisky comes from carefully selected sherry casks. The nose has sweet peach and soft vanilla with citrus, ginger and a trace of oak spice. The palate is velvety, with sweet cinnamon, peach and orange, then caramel, vanilla and spiced oak. The finish is medium in length, with lasting sweetness, fruit and a restrained spicy oak note.
