This is a Speyside single malt from The Macallan, the fifth limited edition made with the Roca brothers of El Celler de Can Roca. It was created to capture the gastronomic soul of Paris and is bottled at 47.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Its maturation includes Cognac casks, a first for The Macallan. The nose shows almond croissants, rose and vanilla. The palate brings buttery pastry, brioche and peach, and the finish is gentle spice with soft oak.
