The Macallan Distil Your World Paris is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, the fifth city edition in the Distil Your World series. It is bottled at 47.2% ABV, with natural colour, in a 70cl bottle.
The series pairs The Macallan's whisky makers with the Roca brothers of El Celler de Can Roca. For Paris, Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell worked with Joan Roca, drawing on the city's patisseries, perfumeries and kitchens. The whisky combines sherry-seasoned American and European oak with ex-bourbon casks and Cognac casks, a first for The Macallan.
The nose offers almond croissant, rose petals, nectarine and vanilla. The palate brings buttered pastry, brioche and peach melba over toasted oak, and the finish is gentle, with soft spice and warm oak.
