The Macallan Double Cask 15 Years Old is a single malt matured for a minimum of 15 years in sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks.
The American oak lets vanilla and lighter notes come through, while the European oak adds a rich complexity.
The nose offers dried fruit and butterscotch, with baked apples, chocolate and smooth oak. On the palate, sweet raisin and sultana build alongside cinnamon, nutmeg and creamy vanilla. The finish is medium, with lingering oak and spice.
