An 18 year old Speyside single malt from The Macallan, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Its colour is natural.
It is matured in American and European oak casks seasoned with sherry in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. The American oak brings vanilla and fresh fruit, while the European oak adds gentle spice, nuts and dried fruit.
The nose has toffee, sweet ginger and dried fruit, with vanilla and soft spice. The palate is smooth and creamy, with toffee, sweet ginger and sultanas. The finish is long and warm, with dried fruit, ginger and a delicate touch of oak.
