The Macallan Edition No. 1 is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, first released in 2015 as the opening bottling of The Macallan Edition Series. It is bottled at 48% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The release was built around the influence of wood on the character of the whisky, and it was assembled from eight different cask styles. The series eventually ran to six numbered expressions.
