The Macallan Edition No. 6 is a Speyside single malt without an age statement, released as the sixth bottling in the Edition series. It is a limited edition built around cask influence, with spirit drawn from European and American oak casks seasoned with sherry and bourbon.
The nose brings fresh citrus, orchard fruit and vanilla. On the palate, crisp apple and honeyed sweetness meet gentle spice, toasted oak and soft dark chocolate. The finish is long and balanced, with warming oak and a little dried fruit.
