This is a single malt from The Macallan, produced near Easter Elchies House in Craigellachie on Speyside. It belongs to the Harmony Collection, a limited series of annual releases celebrating the bond between Macallan and nature, and comes in a 70cl bottle.
This edition takes its inspiration from Ethiopian arabica coffee. The whisky is aged in carefully selected ex-sherry casks of American and European oak.
The nose is sweet with tiramisu and cappuccino, followed by spiced gingerbread. The palate is soft and sweet, with coffee, dark chocolate and blackberry. The finish is lightly spiced, with tiramisu and vanilla.
